As a first step in the field of education Sivaraj Naturopathy & Yoga Medical College was established in the year 1996 with intake of 40 seats per year, as a second step Sivaraj Homeopathy Medical College & Research Institute was established in the year 2001 with intake of 50 seats per year and as a crown of our Sivaraj Medical Colleges, Sivaraj Siddha Medical College was established as a first private Siddha Medical College in Tamil Nadu with 50 seats per year in 2009.

The college takes pride in saying that they have harvested more than 1000 Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Siddha Doctors from Sivaraj Medical colleges where the numerical will end in infinity in the feature and they are creating a Healthy World, With Service as their Motto.

Velumailu Siddha Medical College has been well known as an outstanding institution imparting high quality education in Siddha.

Velumailu Siddha Medical College was established in 2001 by Dharma Medical Research and Charitable Trust. This prestigious college conducts a course leading to award of Bachelor's Degree in Siddha Medicine Surgery (BSMS). This five and half year’s course including one year of house surgency is recognized by Department of AYUSH, Govt. of India and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and affiliated to The T. N. Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

Successful candidates are eligible to get 'A' class registration enabling them to practice Siddha anywhere in India. With the commencement of post graduate courses in Siddha, this institution is poised to take a giant leap in its stride for accomplishing the goal of providing the best siddha practitioners to the world. Presently 200 BSMS students are pursuing their studies. 120 Siddha doctors are successfully completed their studies and all are well placed in India and Abroad.

Velumailu Siddha Medical College is situated in a beautiful verdurous campus in Sriperumbudur - Newly developing Industrial area. It is situated on the Chennai-Bangalore high way well connected by Airport, Port, Railway station and nearby Sriperumbudur bus stand to facilitate. The campus environment is pollution free and peaceful with a relaxed atmosphere all conductive to healthy education.

VSMC is functioning in a separate Block, housing teaching departments, Laboratories, Museums, Lecture halls; computerized modern library is functioning in a separate block. A 150 bedded Hospital with OPD & IPD facilities, four VIP suits, deluxe rooms, general wards and a 24 hrs. Pharmacy helps the students to get a practical clinical training with good clinical exposure.

Sri Sai Ram Medical College for Siddha, Ayurveda & Homoeopathy, Chennai was established in the year of 2001 by MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust which is a non-profitable and non-minority institution. The College is functioning at its permanent building at Sai Leo Nagar. A sprawling campus of 200 acres is near to the well-known, tourist attraction "Kishkinta". The college buildings are architecturally designed and built as per the CCIM and CCH norms.

Imbedded with the message of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, he ventured into the realm of providing Quality Education to both urban and rural students from India and other neighbouring countries. He has to his credit various other enterprises such as real estate, industry and various educational institutions. The Sri Sai Ram Engineering College at Chennai, Sai Matriculation higher Secondary School at Madipakkam and Sri Sai Ram Polytechnic College at Sai Leo Nagar to provide a good training for diploma engineering.

Furthermore the Sai Ram Institute of Management Studies and Computer Science a unit of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, was established in 1997 and it offers the MBA and MCA P.G. Programmes. Santhigiri Siddha Medical College (SSMC) was established in 2002 by Santhigiri Ashram, imbibing the vision of its Founder Guru, NAVAJYOTHISREE KARUNAKARA GURU. This college is the first ever Siddha Medical College in Kerala as well as the first outside the state of Tamil Nadu, the cradle of the Siddha system. It is the only Siddha College among the Nine (the other 8 are in Tamil Nadu) in the country, where the medium of instruction is English and not Tamil. Therefore, the doctors coming out of the Santhigiri Siddha Medical College get a global exposure. At present students from many foreign countries such as Switzerland, Japan etc. have joined the Santhigiri Siddha Medical College.

The Santhigiri Siddha Medical College aims at grooming doctors with a deep understanding and scientific knowledge of the Siddha system in accordance with the system's fundamentals, with extensive practical training, and above all possessing the great principles of the 'Nava Arogya Dharma Siddhantham' (New Doctrine of Healthcare) envisioned by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru.

This college offers the 'Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery' (BSMS) course. It is affiliated to the University of Kerala and Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. It is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi. The course duration is four-and-a-half years, consisting of 3 Professional Periods of 18 months each followed by a 12-month Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (CRRI). Seven batches of students have passed out after completing the course and are well placed professionally

This college is located close to Thiruvananthapuram in serene surroundings. It has an eminent faculty and a good hospital with all specialized departments, good laboratories, an exhaustive library and extensive gardens for medicinal plants.
