Physiotherapy is the application of physical phenomenon for the purpose of treating medical diseases. It deals with the study of physics as applicable in the cure of medical conditions.
It is a professional health care discipline directed primarily towards the prevention or alleviation of movement dysfunction in people.
In the first year of the curriculum the student undergoes a rigorous study in subjects like Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry,Basic Nursing and First Aid, etc., and In second year he/she is taught the various medical & surgical diseases
In third & fourth year it is followed by the application of physiotherapy principles in the cure of these conditions.
